The Darul Iftaa is a department of the Jami'yyatul Ulama Canada, Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians (CCMT) which is a constituted federally Canadian registered non profit body of Muslim Theologians (Ulama, religious scholars). Its inception is to serve the socio-religious needs of the Muslim community residing in Canada. The organization is directed and managed by certified Muslim Theologians only, who have studied and graduated in Islamic universities in the field of Shari’ah.

The Darul Iftaa has a panel of certified muftis/scholars who are learned and trained in issuing Fatwas (Islamic Rulings) in accordance to the Holy Quran & Noble Sunnah.
